Vibro Polishing – vibratory finishing and deburring
What is Vibro Polishing?
Vibro Polishing is a surface-finishing process in which components are treated with selected media and a process compound. Depending on the requirement, it can be used for deburring, edge rounding, smoothing, cleaning or polishing. Before quotation, SP Center confirms feasibility for the component material, geometry and required result.
How does Vibro Polishing work?
Components, selected media and a process compound are placed in a working chamber. Vibratory movement creates contact between the media and the component surfaces. Media type and size, as well as process parameters, are selected according to material, geometry, initial condition and required finish.
Process principle and feasibility review
The result depends on factors including media type, cycle time, process compound, load size and the component’s initial condition. Areas to be treated or protected should be defined in the customer drawing or requirements. The ability to achieve the required result is confirmed before an order is accepted.
Vibro Polishing applications
The process may include burr removal, rounding of sharp edges, surface smoothing and polishing, or preparation for a subsequent operation. For quotation, please provide the drawing, material, component dimensions and weight, batch size, initial condition and required surface result.
